officer hygiene

I don't have anything to blog about, I just felt a little guilty for not having anything to blog about. Does that make sense? I could tell you about my day so far.... I got up, got dressed, released the hounds, oh, I mean let the kids out of the bedroom (the door sticks and Josh can't open it on his own, Taylor has yet to try and climb out of his crib - and I count my blessings for these two little miracles EVERY DAY! - the door and crib, well, the kids too, I suppose.) I also fed them breakfast, ha! if you can count a frozen yogurt popsicle and grape jelly laden toast as breakfast. Forgot to feed myself until I suddenly realized that I'm starving and polished of the leftover tub of store-bought icing in the back of my fridge. Do not judge me... the can clearly states that leftovers should be refrigerated for only up to 2 weeks and I was a dangerous 9 days away from that deadline! Shut up, I said no judging!

Um, my son keeps coming upstairs and asking if I'm going to shower yet. "Are you taking a shower now mama?" "Mama, get in the shower!" My hygiene skills are not that bad, 3-year-old with grape jelly smeared from head to toe, now back off! Okay, really, I do need a shower, but he doesn't know that. He only knows that I'm procrastinating letting him go outside to play. This is how I did it.... "I can't take you outside to play until I have a shower, but I can't have a shower until the washing machine is done running." See how that works? Uh-oh, the buzzer on the dryer just went off - here comes the hygiene patrol!

Ps, did anyone notice my New Moon countdown poster on the sidebar? Ya, I'm THAT excited! Only, like, 5 and one half months left to go!

Oh mornings!!! I would love my kids' bedroom door to stick - hmmmm.

Nice poster! Jacob looks a little more handsome - I must say. Good haircut!

p.s. what are these strange words that we have to copy before we comment - why? I do find them interesting though. Mine is "prelatag" - sounds like a bee stung your tongue and you can't speak correctly. Hmmm.

So. Nothing to do with your blog (which was nothing since you had nothing to post about! har har) but when I look at your bottom "posted by..." it looked at first like it said "posted by LISA CAT" And I thought: Meeee-OW Lisa getting all feline like on me.. then I realize it said LISA C AT.
LOLOLOLOL DOH!

p.s. my word is "drastank"... my opinion of that definition is: the word Josh would use to describe his mom if she chose NOT to shower today!

My hygiene patrol works the other way. No dont have a shower mom, watch the show with me! It worked today - i didn't shower =)he he he.
I totally agree with the good haircut for jacob - much better!

my word for the day is "mistes" as in the "mistes" of how all Kyans socks go missing - i think im gonna blame Kimara =)

Just don't tell Josh about the secret "baby-powder-in-the-hair" trick. Then you'll have no more excuses!

My verification word is "inges". Some might pronounce it with a soft G, like "hinges", but I much prefer the hard G sound, like "in-gees". Possibly a word used to describe the white furry stuff growing on top of the leftover icing, had you actually left in it there the full 2 weeks. See! You clearly HAD to finish it off TODAY!

Clearly you are doing something right when you eat icing for breakfast! I think I am going to put that on my list to do tomorrow! You blog makes me snicker...When I saw you I must admit you looked freshly showered...it was late afternoon????
My verification word is prettest. I thought it was prettiest and was super excited at how well it fit..now I am just disappointed!
